Links For (Search Engine Optimization) SEO – Part 2

In the previous article on this topic, I coated the most varieties of links you want to get for your site. On the last part, I will clearly state which varieties of links to remain off from pursuing, and I can further explain some misconceptions regarding the nice varieties of links.

Don’t do that to your links.
(one) Putting a kind on your web site and then allowing anyone to add a link to your site using an automated process. If you are doing not manually approve these links, well, you are inquiring for “link problems”. Manually approve these links before posting them. What works, takes work…

(a pair of) Denying a link based solely on an occasional or non existing PageRank. What a slip! PageRank isn’t solely outdated, it is also less relevant that it had been within the past. As long as it is related to your site, what really matters here, is that the positioning your are reviewing is indexed or not. That’s the key issue, not its popularity. This conjointly applies outside the regular sites circle, to niche directories, smaller engines, etc.

(three) Sites that exchange links with you, but at a later time they do a “nofollow” on your link, or they only simply take it down. That’s why you need to check your backlinks periodically to verify the status of those links exchanges.

(4) Sites with faked PageRank. Yes, they are all over. The matter is that you’re doing an exchange link or shopping for a link from a website that doesn’t have the PageRank they claim to (offending domains use a 301 or 302 redirects that point their sites to sites with a high PageRank) and instead obtaining your genuine PageRank added to them as a trade, or your money.

Considering link exchanges.
This one isn’t simple, (see on top of) but also a smart manner if done right. How? Well, to begin search for sites with heaps of quality content that’s directly related to yours. In this space, articles that are sensible introductions to your products or services produce an opportunity. Centered on your visitors, search for resource pages that might increase their experience. Search for forums that enable actual links to be passed, as there are lots of then obtainable, especially from authority sites, instructional and governmental entities. And last, but not least, rummage around for “info paths”, in other words, pages that lead guests to additional information on a product or service.

Article swapping for links.
This one is very good. Once you swap articles with a connected web site in your industry (for the foremost benefit) and you add your own comments (preferably in a different color, hint: blue) to the article you are posting on you site (to avoid duplicate content among alternative things) this permits you to possess extra content on your website, and the immediate profit of a properly implemented reciprocal link.
